Default Wess' Swaps

Woo, registering genjutsu swaps even though none of my characters have genjutsu (yet).

Sakura no Mugen (Infinite Cherry Blossom)
Stage: 1
Replacing:
Trigger: Hearing the user clap.
Description: Upon hearing the user clap her hands, the opponent is besieged upon by numerous (enough to make counting them near impossible) flower petals. The petals move in a spiral formation, brushing against the opponent’s body. The amount is enough to obscure their vision, but not enough to render them incapable of sight. Additionally, the petals emit a powerful, cloyingly sweet aroma. While strong, the scent by no means blocks out other smells.
Duration:

Hanabira no Sutingu (Sting of the Petals)
Stage: 2
Replacing:
Trigger: Hearing the phrase, “Fighting it won’t help,”.
Description: After using Sakura no Mugen, this genjutsu can be used. This technique begins right after the user finishes saying the above phrase. The petals begin to “slice” into the opponent, beleaguering them with illusionary pain. The slicing-feeling is akin to a wasp’s sting, therefore more annoying than detrimental, but still painful. The catch is, however, as soon as the petal stops touching the body, the pain stops, only to begin again when touched by the next petal. The goal of the genjutsu is to overload the opponent’s pain receptors (causing the nerve responses to respond in a jolt, relax, jolt fashion) and render them debilitated. If the user chooses, he/she can control the petals to make them spiral around a single appendage (head, arms, or legs) rather than the entire body, thereby concentrating the pain. Similarly, the user can choose just to affect the torso.
Duration:

Hanabira no Jutsu: Miraju (Petal Technique: Mirage)
Stage: 4
Replacing:
Trigger: Hearing the user say the phrase, "Be careful,".
Description: This technique, when performed, causes the user to “vanish” in a flurry of petals. The petals then converge upon the opponent, but unlike the previous jutsu, they stick to the opponent, with several clumping together. Stems and thorns then spread from the clumped petals, with the thorns latching onto the opponent’s flesh (armor isn’t any good here). The more the opponent struggles, the deeper the illusionary thorns go. The thorns are about the size of a standard makibishi spike (read: ONE spike, not the entire makibishi). The user reappears after all of the petals have stuck onto the opponent (same post). This jutsu may only affect the opponent’s torso region and does not restrict their movement (if they can bare the pain).
Duration:

And a new swap for Universal Summoning!

Earth: Subterranean Strike
Stage: 2
Replacing:
Description: Despite the user having performed the summoning technique, nothing appears to have happened. Under the surface of the earth however, a small groundhog has been summoned. Possessing long, kunai-like claws, the groundhog will lie in wait until its summoner signals for it to strike with a predetermined code word. It will then leap forth from the ground, breaking through the earth in an attempt to stab or slash the opponent. After delivering its strike, the groundhog will disappear with a puff of smoke. The longest the groundhog will wait is three posts.

And Katon swaps because I have severe issues.

Katon: Hanabi (Fire Element: Fireworks)
Stage: 4
Replacing:
Description: After performing a few hand seals, the user forms a triangle with their hands. A fiery, white light appears in between their hands before launching in the direction they're facing. It travels until it hits something, upon which it explodes with a concussive force of an explosive tag. As it explodes, fiery white napalm shoots out in a one meter radius capable of causing second degree burns.

Fire Style: Burning Ash

Stage: 4
Replacing:
Description: The effect of this Jutsu is two fold: First, the user performs the required hand signs before he/she spews out a mass of ash, similar to a smoke screen in consistency, over approximately a 5x5 meter area. The ash itself is capable of blocking out any sight-enhancing ninjutsu below Stage 4, though it cannot negate doujutsu. After one post of charging, the user may gnash their teeth together, instantly igniting the ash covered area with the force of an explosive tag.
Base: As above.
Stage 5: The user may bypass the post of waiting and instantly ignite the area.

Dark Flight
Stage: 3
Replacing:
Trigger: Being within attacking distance of the target.
Description: This genjutsu works best when used to counter an opponent's attack, though it may be used as an offensive move alone. Regardless, the user forms the required seals and effectively transforms into a murder of scavenger birds. The birds then convene upon the target, pecking and scratching with their beaks and talons. The user may use the opportunity to escape or to set up an attack of their own. This counts as an offensive action. Regardless, at the end of the duration, the birds reconvene in the genjutsu caster's current location, reforming the individual.
Duration: 0/1/1

Scavenge
Stage: 4
Replacing:
Description: Outstretching their arms, the user summons forth a flock of small scavenger birds with two medium sized vultures leading the charge. Using a slight form of henge, the birds take on the appearance of weaponry, typically kunai and shuriken, while the vulture takes the form of something grander, such as a Fuuma or Demon Windmill Shuriken. These birds-turned-weapons then home in upon that of their enemy, capable of doing as much damage as the weapon they turned into. Upon striking the target, they revert back to their normal bird form and remove themselves from the victim before circling ominously overhead. The flock's seeking is not perfect, however, and they will only follow the vultures. Should both of the vultures be banished (read: hit), the entire flock will be banished as well. As an added fluff effect, should the target die to this technique, or should this technique be cast on an already dead target, the flock will swoop down and pick the target clean. The birds will only actively seek out their prey for three posts before disappearing.

Dance of a Thousand Black Feathers
Stage: 2
Replacing:
Trigger: Dodging an attack from the user.
Description: Quite accustomed to their vulture summons by this point, the user seeks to use them in order to invoke fear and distress from their opponent through malicious intent. After forming the required hand seals, the sky seems to open up, a rift forming, as around a dozen vultures fly out of the intricate cosmical opening. Each are wearing a dark colored robe and tend to fly ominously overhead. Following the user's (or his/her allies') consecutive attacks, several of the vultures swoop in the direction of the enemy, cornering the individual when he/she tries to dodge a strike. Naturally, since the birds are illusions, they can't do any physical damage, but should the opponent attempt to pass through them, the birds will convene upon the target, pecking and clawing and making sight difficult for the next post. The duration always ends at the beginning of the opponent's second post should they trigger the pecking/clawing affect.
Duration: 1/2/4

Pacify
Stage: 4
Replacing:
Requirements: A medical archetype/Ken no Seijin member.
Description: A technique devised by Junichi after his encounter with an oni, the pacifist sought not to destroy the spirits, but send them back to their natural plane, in peace. After shifting his footing into a stationary position, Junichi channels an immense amount of healing chakra from his body. Rotating his hands, the light green, mist-like energy flows from his finger tips, encircling the creature in a double helix. The healing chakra glows bright, causing the oni to return to being a passive spirit, in which case it immediately disperses in a puff of smoke. This technique is only complete upon the user's next post, and while the creature being pacified can resist being banished, providing its Willpower stat is higher than Junichi's Control stat. Furthermore, the technique can easily be disturbed simply by diverting the medic's concentration (ie, him being attacked). For this reason, a binding nin/genjutsu is typically used prior to this technique in order to restrict the beast's movement. Also, after some further experimentation, Junichi realized he could use this technique on summoned individuals. While having no effect on a mercenary summon that only lasts for one post, creatures that stay for more than one post may be pacified. Essentially, the summoned loses its will to fight, and following the completion of the technique, dissipates in a puff of smoke.
Note: Even if Junichi's control stat is higher than the summoned's willpower stat, Pacify only works if his medical ninjutsu stage is the same or above the level of summon he's attempting to banish. If the user attempts to banish anything higher than stage four, it counts as using the technique as a higher level one. (ie, pacifying a stage 6 summon counts as a stage 6, while banishing anything at or below a stage 4 counts as a stage 4 usage.)

Default Custom Archetype

To be added here.

Miststalker
Archetypes: Tanshin Clan Specialist - Taijutsu Specialist
Combo Special: Twice per thread, rather than summon her knives, the Miststalker can instead reverse-summon herself to one of the blades as long as it is within thirty meters of her. This can only be used to dodge an attack once, and counts as one of her two kawarimi uses if used in such a way.
Description: The Miststalker is a young predator and lacks restraint. Often times, she takes too long in killing her prey, or she takes on something a bit too big for her. The Miststalker has been forced to adapt to these situations, and her guerrilla style of fighting shows it. Rather than attacking out right, the Miststalker takes her time, prowling around as she searches for weak points. If she fails, she has a fail-safe, and if she aims true, well, the young predator might just become something.

Default Broodmother Swaps

Broodmother Swaps
to be added here

Mimicry: Flier
Stage: 4
Description: Having become so attuned to his karamushi, Kazuhiko developed a myriad of techniques in a way that encourages the production of parasitical posterity while subsequently aiding himself in battle. Using the chitin producing adults inside his body, Kazuhiko is capable of capitalizing upon their natural ability to form animal shaped structures in hopes progressing the infection process. After selecting two adults, Kazuhiko then excretes them (and several hundred larva) through his skin into a chitin filled tumor, slowing his speed level by one (if it reaches 0, he is incapable of movement). Inside, they reproduce, the tumor slowly morphing into an animal-like structure, held together through special membranes. The following post, the monkey-sized obstruction breaks free, and this one in particular is capable of limited flight. Also capable of distinguishing ally from foe, this aberration lasts a maximum of three posts and is able to utilize a stinger-like entity to inject karamushi eggs and larvae into its target. More importantly, perhaps, is the creation’s ability to use the stage three equivalent of the technique “Egg Sack” once per post. This technique may be destroyed by a Stage 4 Ninjutsu or strike equivalent to Level 4 Strength. At the end of its duration, the karamushi adults inside die, leaving an immobile chitin structure. Only one Flier may be active at a time, and it shares a one post cooldown with all Mimicry constructs.

(Note the above: Essentially, this is a Maeda version of an elemental dragon technique, save for the fact that it has to wait a post before activation.)

Mimicry: Infantry
Stage: 3
Description: In a manner similar to the Flier technique, Kazuhiko creates two chitin tumors on himself, allowing them to fall away the next post and suffering from a level drop in speed until then (if it reaches 0, Kazuhiko becomes incapable of movement). Shaped like ants, these aberrations scurry along the ground, about the size of an average house cat. Armed with grooved pinchers, these structures are capable of breaking through skin and tearing away chunks of muscle and flesh, though they may not break bones. Capable of crawling onto people, they may transmit infection through tiny openings in their mandibles. As an added bonus, these creatures may instead choose to clamp onto Kazuhiko’s foe, using their weight to slow him down by one speed level per obstruction clinging to him. Since these creatures don’t waste needless energy like the Flier, they may last for five posts before the adults die. Stage 2 Ninjutsu and Level 3 Strength may destroy them. It shares a one post cooldown with all Mimicry constructs.

Mimicry: Pill Bug
Stage: 4
Description: Kazuhiko creates three chitin structures on his body this time, reducing his speed level by two. When these kitten-sized obstructions fall off the next post, they are in the shape of a pill bug with an enlarged midsection that glows blue with chakra. These creatures possess little blood, therefore giving them a reduced life, in fact, one that ends upon the end of the user’s next post. Given the amount of chakra they possess, they are capable of being destroyed by Stage Three techniques, but with a lack of blood to support a karamushi population for long, they can be crushed by Level Two strength. Regardless, these pill bug lookalikes’ true nature isn’t known until they reach an enemy. Capable of being detonated with the force of an explosive tag, these constructs are often used to bring down structures, though are just as usable on humans. Given the amount of chakra required to make these creatures, they may only be created twice per thread with a four post cooldown in between.

Mimicry: Larva
Stage: 2
Requirements: Mimicry: Infantry
Description: Unlike other Mimicry techniques, this one does not have a cooldown, nor does is share one with any of the other jutsu. A larva may be constructed in a single post, and after forming, it drops off the user and burrows its way underground, remaining dormant for two posts (the post this technique is used on does not count). In truth, the karamushi inside are gathering energy, preparing for when they may arise as Infantry. At the end of the two posts, one infantry unit may arise for four posts, possessing the same strength and durability as a regular one.

Mimicry: Queen
Stage: 6
Description: Starting off as a specialized larva, the queen burrows underground for three posts before emerging. When it does, it resembles Kazuhiko, but covered in gooey, purple chitin with a single armor adaptation of his choice (that he knows) and an enlarged-posterior turned abdomen. Possessing the same statistics as the user (with 1/3 tai bonuses), this construct is capable of using a single Maeda ninjutsu that he knows before falling apart. Most importantly, however, is this creature’s ability to lay larva of its own, one per post. They too morph into Infantry, though at an accelerated rate (one post). This construct may be destroyed by a Stage 5 or higher ninjutsu, but when struck, it bleeds karamushi infected blood. It behaves like a clone, and may be destroyed. The larva creation stops if the clone’s abdomen is severed, and it collapses if its head is decapitated.

True Mimicry: Hive
Stage: 5
Description: This technique requires a dead body and one post of preparation, in which the user is rendered immobile. The karamushi inside Kazuhiko then begin to create a chitin structure around the corpse and their host, starting at his arms and thereby tethering him to ground. Once the structure has finished forming, Kazuhiko may detach himself from it, and the Hive may begin to produce three larva each post. These larva are special in the regard that they may create any other construct (save for themselves and a Queen), also adding a +1 limit to constructs that may be created (meaning 2 fliers, 2 larva, 3 infantry, and 4 pill bugs). Regular cooldowns still apply (meaning that with this bonus, ONLY 2 fliers may exist and the four post cooldown to the pillbugs still applies). This construct lasts three posts, and can exist for an additional two if a dead body is laid at the foot of the Hive for a maximum of 5. While this technique is active, Kazuhiko may not use any Mimicry techniques himself, and the larva may only morph into constructs that the user already knows. True Mimicry: Hive is only usable once per thread, and the strain is great enough upon the Maeda in question that he may not use any Mimicry techniques for the duration of the thread.

Strain: Euphoria
Stage: 3
Description: After his run-in with Maeda Usagi, Kazuhiko found that his particular strain of Karamushi were capable of assimilating her ability. This strain in question affects the brain and body's neural transmitters, forcing a surge of dopamine and other reward-motivating chemicals through the body. The sudden surge of chemicals is marked by incredible happiness and a tingling effect throughout the body. While it's possible for someone to remain in this state for hours until the karamushi die, in combat, this effect is limited to three posts and is marked by a loss of will to fight. This loss of will by no means keeps individuals from fighting, it just creates a wave of relaxation and intense happiness, not unlike a combination of THC, Nicotine, and certain opiates.

Default Archetype/Maeda Swaps

Lord/Lady of Darkness
Spear Master + Lord of Sound
For one post per thread with an extra for every 10 Willpower, the Lord of Darkness may call upon the lost souls of Yomi to empower his spears, to a maximum of two. After the darkness enshrouds them, the weapons become capable of firing off a single beam of dark energy from each blade that move at the speed of the user and hit with the strength of the user. The beams are capable of puncturing someone just like a spear, and may pierce through ninjutsu one stage lower than the Lord of Darkness’ highest level of taijutsu. The beams may travel as far as the user can throw his spear.

Sterilize
Stage: 4
This technique was created in response to Kazuhiko’s desperate desire to cleanup easily and efficiently after a mission. This technique can be used to kill all karamushi that originated from the Maeda using this technique within a 50 meter radius, so long as they are exposed (read: not in someone’s body.) The small eggs carrying larvae dry up, the larvae wither, and the adults crumble. However, Kazuhiko also found an offensive use for this technique. Twice per thread, the Maeda using this technique may use it on one person infected with their karamushi. This kills all the karamushi active within the subject, ending strains immediately. However, the toxicity released by so many dying organisms affects the target. They are immediately beset with the effects of debilitating poison; that is to say, their body is wrecked by immense pain and fatigue for three posts.

Strain: Rabies
Stage: 5
To put it simply, this strain mimics rabies for two posts, frothing from the mouth and all. Those infected have difficulty distinguishing between friend and foe, and unless they manage to overcome the urge, they will feel an incredibly powerful desire to attack whatever or whomever is closest to them. To reiterate, for two posts, those infected with this technique will feel the desire, bordering on need, to go on a violent rampage, intent on inflicting harm. After the two posts ends, this strain will no longer have an effect (read: can no longer be used on) those infected for the rest of the thread.

Add to this thread, please.

Default Stone Force Jewel Swaps

Obelisk
Stage: 5
Channeling chakra through the veins of their jewel, the user slams his/her hands into the ground. The result is a brilliant, transparent, crystalline structure that rises forth from the ground. It is stationary, and to be destroyed, it must be hit by a stage 5 or higher ninjutsu technique or hit by a strength level of 7. To be charged, it must have chakra channeled through it by a Stone Force Jewel user (read: touched by a willing user.) It can be charged by up to three Stone Force Jewel users. After channeling their chakra into it, the structure takes on the gleam of whatever jewels fueled it. Starting on the caster’s next post, it may use one Stone Force Jewel technique that the ones who charged it know, so long as it is Stage 5 or below. This counts against the caster’s jutsu uses, but not his/her offensive action, and can only be used during the caster's posts (read: only the caster may use it.) The Obelisk can only exist for 3 posts after being charged, and in that time, may make three attacks, one per post.

Gilded Armor
Stage: 6
By channeling chakra into their jewel, the user is capable of creating an armor that covers the entirety of their body. This causes their skin to take on the color of whatever hue the user’s Stone Force Jewel is. By expending a jutsu usage one stage higher than whatever the ninjutsu attack is that they’re targeted by, the user may negate that attack. They must know the stage above whatever they’re targeted against (read: If targeted by a Stage 4 ninjutsu, the user must have a ninjutsu list with Stage 5.) Additionally, the user may extend this defense to taijutsu attacks with a strength level two levels higher than their highest stage (read: Stage 6 ninjutsu blocks Strength Level 8.) This cannot protect against Stage 6 or 7 techniques.

Orb of the Tides
Stage: 2
After channeling chakra into their jewel, the user is capable of causing their veins to produce a single orb made of condensed water about the size of their fist. The orb floats around the user until the user wills it to move, and it can only move in a straight line. It hits with the blunt force of a thrown kunai and moves just as fast.
Stage +1: The orb may now explode with the force of an explosive pouch and moves as fast an arrow. Its movement may be controlled slightly, allowing it to follow after a target. Right angles and sudden turns are impossible, and trying to do so will cause the orb to combust.
Stage +2: The orb may now explode with the force of an explosive tag, and it moves as fast as a rapid fire crossbow bolt. It is now capable of following after its target effectively.

Wave Cannon
Stage: 3
Taking one post to charge chakra into the jewel veins surrounding their hand, the user may fire off a beam of concentrated water. It hits with a strength equal to a javelin and is sharpened into a point.
Stage +1: The user no longer needs to charge chakra for one post before using this technique, making it much more effective, particularly at close range.
Stage +2: This technique may now penetrate a defensive technique equal to its highest scaling, but may only do so once per thread.

Default Black Miko and Voice Swaps

Hex Seal Technique: Demonic Embrace
Condition: None
Stage: 4
Many Seijuu owe their allegiance to Donshoku, but a few take their patronage a step further. Blessed, or rather, cursed by the allegiance of one of his disciples, the few Seijuu that know this technique offer their body up as vessel. After charging energy throughout their body, a seal bearing the mark of insidious power forms on the user’s chest, just above the heart. The pain that follows is immense, and the user’s body seems to rip apart and reform into another human, with the appearance dependent on the Seijuu’s personal demon’s whims, though it stays the same for the most part (read: if the user loses a limb, so does the advanced henge, otherwise the appearance is set.) The form cannot be dispelled by any attack since the user’s very flesh and bones are altered. Additionally, the user takes a backseat, laid dormant in their new body’s conscience. Instead, their personal demon takes reign, acting as agent of their summoner. By doing this, the Seijuu allows their demon to feed on souls directly and act without leaving evidence of the user's “own presence" (read: fingerprints change and something about trace DNA seems strange and implacable) The user can choose when to switch back to their own body, but they may only switch forms once per thread, and the entire transformation takes two posts, where the user is incapable of performing any other action. This technique may be used between threads, but the user may not use the technique in the thread following the offscreen switch. There are no numerical, stat benefits to using this technique, and the user must know at least Stage One of the Pact.

Inspiring Cry
Stage: 4
The Keisei are leaders, strong leaders with a penchant for manipulation. Many times, their commands are targeted towards their enemies, but they may choose to bolster their allies instead. Usually, this command takes the form of a rallying speech. The result is increased stats for the duration of the technique. The user may not use this technique on his/herself, and it may not be stacked with similar techniques.
Base: The user may target one ally and boost their taijutsu levels by 1 level for 1 post. The target then experiences a stat reduction of 1 level for 1 post.
Stage +1: The user may target two allies and boost their taijutsu levels by 2 levels for 2 posts. The target then experiences a stat reduction of 2 levels for 2 posts.
Stage +2: The user may target as many allies that are listening to them and boost their taijutsu levels by 2 levels for three posts. The user’s allies then experience a stat reduction of 1 level for 1 post.

Enfeebling Lament
Stage: 4
In the same way that the Keisei may bolster their allies, they may instead target their enemies. By changing the pitch of their voice, the user may invoke a sense of weakening upon their enemies. This causes them to perform at a less than stellar level physically. This technique may not be stacked with similar techniques and cannot be refreshed while taijutsu levels are lowered.
Base: The user may target one enemy and lower their taijutsu levels by 1 level for 1 post.
Stage +1: The user may target two enemies and lower their taijutsu levels by 2 levels for 2 posts.
Stage +2: The user may target three enemies and lower their taijutsu levels by 3 for 3 posts.

Appeal of Fate
Stage: 5
Sometimes, the Keisei’s allies have exhausted all of their options – they are simply beaten. Their bodies ache. Maybe they’ve lost too much blood. Maybe they’re simply too tired to go on. Well, the Keisei can attempt to remedy this. They can ask their allies to continue to fight for them. Often times, they will listen. The Keisei may target up to two of their allies and urge them to continue fighting. For three posts, they may act as if they possess no fatigue, as if the weight of their injuries is nonexistent. Afterwards, they fall, and if they don’t receive medical treatment by the end of the thread, perish.

Plea of Innocence
Stage: 3
The Keisei know how to convince people to do things they shouldn’t. They also know how to keep people from doing things they shouldn’t. By issuing a plea to stop, the Keisei may interrupt their enemy from orchestrating a single attack. The issue is sudden and causes immense strain on the user, and once used, cannot be done for the rest of the thread.

Divergence: Touch
This specific Keisei is unique in the fact that rather than issue commands via voice, they may instead spread and build their influence via touch. All other restrictions remain the same, and their throat glows when using the ability, just the same.

Avatar of the Moon
Stage: (Supernatural Beast Ability)
After years of serving the Getsuei, the Avatar of the Moon has come to adapt to their abilities. By taking on a soft, white light, the Avatar of the Moon can empower itself with the essence of the moon, empowering its abilities and serving as a "real moon" catalyst for the Getsuei's abilities.

Slug Art: Existence
Stage: (Personal Summons Ability)
Many slugs are known for their ability to divide into smaller versions of themselves. This one is no exception. At most, the slug may divide itself into 4 smaller counterparts. When divided, they possess no combat function (physical stats of 1) and may only use healing techniques that the original qualified for. However, the slug's master may imbue their chakra into each individual slug, allowing it to use the master's highest stage of chiyute once per thread. The slugs are also telepathically linked and may serve as communication units. All fit within the user's palm, and this technique also gives the personal summon the ability to take and use medical techniques. To use this ability, the Beast Master must know Telepathy.

Druid's Heart User
Stage: (Leader Key Trait)
Drug use within a gang is not uncommon. Through some way or means, this particular thug has procured a hefty supply of Druid's Heart and has taken quite the liking to it. A retainer assigned this trait may substitute Grass and Mokuton swaps into the Mercenary Techniques List up to Stage 4, and they may be used so long as the retainer is high on the drug.
