Actually what's wrong with the your first picture is that the left side of his face sticks out too far. The angle that his head is at would actually cause a three-quarter angle, which would hide most of the left side of his face. In my experience its the nose and mouth that tell you what kind of angle the head is placed at. From how you drew and lined them up is where i'm deriving my critique from.

For the most part you have a solid idea of where to place your shadows and your highlights. You also have a good clean style.

Your second drawing however, I feel is actually is not as good as the first one. I say that cause I have a sneaking suspicion that you used photo reference, now referencing models from photo's is good but try not to do it too much, you'll tend to have a much less original style overall. Photo reference is best for practice, not for finished work.

But yet again you showed well placed darks and lights, so good job there.

Well that's my critique, Sorry if you weren't desiring one. :P

Silf, your art still sucks. I was the only one able to bring out the best in your skills. So, I'll have to pay you to do something.

Wow, these look pretty sweet, I can't do any of these.
I'd probably make it look like one of those things you draw for your parents in preschool. Good Job =]

Here, here! I too, in addition to CVLV2SASUKE, am also without the ability to draw, even if I were to proverbially barter my life in exchange for an example of my drawing skill! That is to say that in a competition wherein my skill be the judge as to whether or not I can continue to keep my life: I would most assuredly fail and lose it, perchance even dying before I had the chance to protest, such is the low level caliber of my writing!

In essence I can't draw for life, too! So, yea!

That being said, some places of the pictures are really well done, which leads me to think that you easily visualize certain areas cleanly, but then have trouble deciding on the correct face. You have defenite skill in drawing clothes, and the shape of the katana in your missing-nin picture, while slightly too long, is still detailed and pretty proportional. Keep practicing, I guess?

~These are some of my first drawings I've ever scanned, so I didn't use a mouse to draw them this time~

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

This is the pic Mizu was referring to:

I don't like the hair I drew on him and the face is bad. T_T
It's not very clean, my scanner is bad and I erased a lot.

This is what the head originally looked like:

I am just going to comment on your later pictures, I really like the sketch. Something about the hatched lines make it look almost rustic japanese. Very cool!
