Default [Mist] The Eternal Battleground (Part I) [Rated]

The Eternal Battleground

The mission, from the mouths of babes:

"Something fishy’s going down in Seagull Country. I know that much, yo. Creepiness in the jungles, missing people… Basically, bumps in the night that we’re either going to shine a light on or bump back."

The players:
---
Rumbler in the Jungle, Getsui Gen
---
Sterling Hawk and Not-Dad, Nakadan Isao
---

Stay tuned for Part II

The writing in this thread was pretty good...easy to follow and it flowed nicely. Though my issues lie within the mission itself.

Distortion - I have a few issues with how you carried out the mission in particular. Your attempt at trying to gather information seemed a bit off. Trying to stay undercover but coming out and asking about what you wanted to know doesn't help your case, neither does getting up right after getting information.

And some of the medical diagnostic skills by your character aren't really fitting for the skill set. I understand realizing the cause of death and what not...but the freshness of a corpse without any medical knowledge is questionable at best.

I'll give 3 points to Distortion and 1 to Calibur, one jutsu may be purchased.

Our plans for the thread were skewed at the beginning, and by the time I realized how boring the information-gathering would be it was a little too late. So I bustled out of there. Most of the analysis of the dead man was simple detail observations, aside from the time of death. In essence, it's just important to keep the trail fresh for Eternal Battleground II, though I understand where you're coming from. Sort of trying to get a hang of this whole thing.

Link is in stronghold in the sig.

Yeah, Part II will be where the bulk of the thread kicks off, having actually put in the planning this time.

I will take 1 jutsu, please:

Stage I: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) [Intelligence 3, Reserves 3]

And in my thread log, could you please list this mission after Episode #1, which will be Unwritten Epic (currently claimed, awaiting its rating):

Episode #2: The Eternal Battleground (Part I of II)
"Sterling stuff, not-Dad..."
Awards:
Hidden Mist Ninjutsu Stage I: Water Clone Technique

Gen says "Cheers, yo!"

He's the Goofy Genin in my sig, by the way
