    Kizuken (Flawed Fist)

Description: The Kizuken shouldn’t actually be called a style simply because of an inherent imperfection. After all it is just a variant of the Iron Fist Style with the only difference that the power of a blow in the Kizuken isn’t even half that of a strike from a Gouken user, simply because it is traded with speed. So basically, the Flawed Fist is the Iron Fist Style with much less destructive power but with greater speed and agility…

The power of the blows in the Kizuken will always remain the same no matter how much the user has progressed mainly because those who use the Flawed Fist lack strength by default. Therefore, because all the emphasis is put on these specific aspects of Tekken, speed and agility become the only varying factors.

The existence of the Kizuken is probably a direct consequence of the user’s lack of sheer physical power and unwillingness to train harder to develop a more muscular body.

Movement: Quick, fluid movements with fast hits from punches and kicks, the user of the Kizuken concentrates more on speed than anything else. The Kizuken user is always incredibly relaxed, capable of dodging many attacks, countering with great speed, and constant movement. They depend on feints and dodges and the like to aid in battle, rather than sheer force.

    Stage 1

Stat Requirements: Speed 5, Stamina 3
Stat Bonus: +5 Speed, +4 Stamina

At the most basic level, the user has basically no readily available form or style to depend on other than being a bit faster than other genin.

    Stage 2

Stat Requirements: Speed 8, Stamina 6, Tactic 6
    Stat Bonus: +4 Stamina, + 5 Speed

Power - The severity and form of the user’s blows in this level are quite basic. Not able to do much else rather than cause bruises and such unto an opponent, this is the true starting point of the style

Agility – Since Kizuken users don’t rely on power, they had to develop bodies fitting acrobats, thus working more on speed and agility. Fluidity in the movements is quite pronounced, differing slightly from other linear styles. Dodging is made much easier with the increased elasticity of the body, which is however not as supple as the user would want it to be. The user is able to leap about head level at his level.

    Stage 3

Stat Requirements: Speed 12, Stamina 8, Tactic 8
Stat Bonus: +4 Stamina, +5 Speed

    Power - No change

Agility – At this stage, the fluidity in the movements is even more noticeable, allowing the user to bend make his body take positions which would be quite uncomfortable for the average Gouken user. Dodging ease is brought to another level now that the user’s body is extremely flexible and supple.

    Stage 4

Stat Requirements: Speed 17, Stamina 13, Tactic 14, Strength 13
Stat Bonus: +4 Stamina, +5 Speed

    Power – No change

Agility – At this stage, the fluidity in the movements is almost perfect, the user becoming quite unpredictable, although not up to the level of a drunken boxer. Suppleness doesn’t change much from the previous level, but the user learns how to use those fluid movements even while he is in mid flight, thus allowing him to dodge projectiles and punches while he is supposed to be ‘defenseless’. He is also able to jump higher than before…

    Stage 5

Stat Requirements: Speed 22, Stamina 18, Tactic 16, Strength 16
Stat Bonus: +4 Stamina, +5 Speed

    Power – No change

Agility – At this stage, the fluidity has more a sense of purpose. The user knows exactly where he wants his body to go, moving like water. While the style is close to perfection, it hasn’t quite got there yet.

    Stage 6

    Stat Requirements: Speed 30, Stamina 24, Tactic 22, Intelligence 14, Strength 21
Stat Bonus: +4 Stamina, +5 Speed

    Power – No change

Agility – Fluidity can now be considered as perfect, the user doing the strict minimum in his actions so as to waste the least amount of energy as possible. At the same time, he keeps his unpredictability by virtue of his ability to shape his elastic body like a contortionist, able to take the most unthinkable positions. Spinning around oneself while jumping in the way of a dancer or acrobat, the user, although possessing extremely supple muscles, is still bound by the limits his joints place on him.

    Stage 7

    Stat Requirements: Speed 39, Stamina 33, Tactic 27, Intelligence 20, Strength 24
    Stat Bonus: +4 Strength, +4 Stamina, + 1 Speed

    Power – No change

Agility – Extremely agile, supple and flexible, the user’s body is now perfectly conditioned so that it allows the user to shape his body beyond the possibilities of a regular corporeal frame. Almost seeming as if he were boneless, the adept appears to dance through the most linear, predictable and repetitive attacks, dodging them skilfully using his body’s elasticity. Massive leaps are now within the skill scope of the user.
